The mosquito coil, which is a summer tradition, is an excellent product that Japan is proud of, as it exterminates insects with a fragrant scent and smoke. In the old days, I used to smoke mugwort and pine needles to prevent mosquitoes. In the Meiji era, pyrethrum powder was imported and mosquito coils were made. Initially it was a "stick-shaped mosquito coil", but after that, a "swirl-shaped mosquito coil" that can be used for a long time was born. In the old days, I used to smoke mugwort and pine needles to prevent mosquitoes. In the Meiji era, pyrethrum powder was imported and mosquito coils were made. Initially it was a "stick-shaped mosquito coil", but after that it was improved to a "swirl-shaped mosquito coil" that can be used for a long time. There are two types of mosquito coil holders: a design in which a mosquito coil stand is placed on an iron plate, and a lid type design that makes use of the sandy surface transmitted to the tea ceremony kettle. After use, wipe it with a soft cloth and store it in a dry place.
